Ph.D. Assistantship Announcement

The Department of Recreation, Park, & Tourism Studies at Indiana University is seeking qualified candidates for 1-2 doctoral assistantships starting Fall 2015 (summer employment in 2015 is possible).  Candidates should have a strong interest in conducting both qualitative and quantitative research in the area of travel experiences of people with disabilities. Successful candidate(s) will have the opportunity to work with Dr. Shu Cole on a project funded by Craig H. Neilsen Foundation, and other research and teaching assignments as needed by the department.

Candidates for the assistantship must be admitted to the doctoral program. The Ph.D. assistantship includes a competitive stipend, tuition, and health insurance. It is renewable for up to three years based on satisfactory performance and availability of funds.  Application deadline is March 1, 2015. Please contact Dr. Shu Cole at for more details.
