Graduation Requirement

To complete the LM bachelor's degree requirements, each student must:

  • Select and complete at least one Professional Course Option (24 credits)

  • Complete a minimum of 135 credits

  • Complete the Internship (9 credits)

The Department of Leisure Management offers a bachelor's degree, with an emphasis on one of two professional course options, i.e., Leisure Programming and Entertainment Industry. The Professional Course Options are designed to enhance students' professional knowledge and skills in the leisure field. More specifically, Leisure Programming emphasizes programming and management skills to implement leisure activities. Choosing the Leisure and Entertainment Industry professional course option helps students be familiar with various types of leisure and entertainment in a creative way. Each student is required to decide his or her concentration area in the sophomore year, and to complete at least 14 credits from either Leisure Programming or Entertainment Industry.

Each student is required to complete at least 135 credits before graduation. In addition to the 14 credits of the Professional Course Options, each student must take 30 credits of General Education Courses, 20 credits of College Core Courses, 21 credits of other options and 50 credits of LM Department Core Courses.
Entertainment Industry plus four credits from the other professional options.
